Recently, I've been studying the history of SESAME STREET (reading about the development of the show, and watching old episodes and home videos), and it has left me in awe of how so many creative people have contributed to the program.

I was quite surprised to learn from this website that Howard helped write a couple of songs for the show (though ultimately, they were cut). Considering his talents as a lyricist and a script-writer, I think it would have been interesting to see what sort of distinctive stamp he might have left on SESAME STREET had Sesame Workshop hired him as a regular member.
